  1. We continue to accept dreck from the wrong points of origin of course and it shows on our streets. We need to be far more choosy about who we admit with a binding legal commitment to assimilate. Anyone who doesn’t should be deported with 18 months at their expense. The only issue that matters is how can they enhance our communities within our culture to our advantage.

  2. We just had a chance to observe that a failed exit strategy, a failure to think and design viable and realistic ways forward from entrenched status quo can be painful, or outright disastrous. I'm not sure who's listening and if, but here's a few cents. 1. We approaching the mark of the maximum possible protection of the society against severe Covid. A small fraction that either cannot or would not vaccinate cannot make significant impact on the developing scenario. Pounding vaccination propaganda and Covid-scare will bring quickly diminishing returns, and in the absence of new approaches, become counter-productive, locking the society in the dead-end direction that cannot lead to a solution in the foreseeable perspective. 2. A realistic direction for the exit from Covid crisis is an intelligent coexistence with endemic Covid based on four cornerstones of clear policy realized in effective action: 1) protection of the vulnerable population; 2) timely and best treatment if and when needed; 3) suppression of the infection with smart, effective and targeted interventions, including technology based; 4) clear, consistent, honest, accurate and current information to the society. The time to begin implementing it is now. 3. Unfortunately the approach we have seen so far, that of indiscriminate, poorly explained and justified if at all, blank mandating, failure to monitor and report the effectiveness of implemented solutions, reliance on one silver bullet panaceas and propaganda can very easily lock in itself, making intelligent exit even more complicated and elusive than all the challenges of the disease. In the environment devoid of accountability and independent oversight it's much easier to press for continuation, potentially indefinite in the absence of the instruments of oversight and control, of measures of indiscriminate population management than develop, implement and demonstrate effective methods and approaches that could keep the infection in check without interfering with the normal, to the extent possible, life of the society. At this time there appear to be two essentially different and rapidly diverging directions: smart, intelligent and effective management; and entrenched bureaucratic management. Us, the society will chose one, by reason or default. And the choice will define the outcome, as it always does.

  3. If it’s not killing children except in extremely rare situations that are almost always with pre-existing conditions, then it’s the unvaccinated vaccine-eligible adults who are the only group at risk. That group is shrinking and currently represents about 10 percent of the population. If they’ve freely chosen to risk their lives then the only consideration is hospital capacity. Even at our pandemic peak last April/May we were not at capacity in Ontario. Our field hospitals weren’t full. That was when our vaccine campaign was just kicking into high gear. Our system can handle the lifting of restrictions.

  4. It has really become the time to end this nonsense covid crises once and for all. The government wanted at least 80% of the people vaccinated and the government has now reached that goal. So, why the constant push for trying to get more people vaccinated? There is no real to do so anymore. These covid viruses are here to stay and they will keep on coming back in other variants. They cannot be stopped. So, enough already with the pushing for 100% of the people getting vaccinated and end all of those medical tyranny covid restrictions that have done far more damage to Canada and Canadians than this covid virus ever could. Those covid vaccine passports are what one who knows their bible as nothing more now than what is called in the bible the "mark of the beast or 666". Without that passport for the many non vaccinated people who refuse to get vaccinated will only mean that they will become second class citizens and will be discriminated against. A violation of their Charter of Rights and freedoms. They will be treated as outcasts in society because they did not take the mark of the beast or 666, the covid vaccine passport. Who would have ever thought that just two years ago that such a thing would happen. If I told you that one will need a vaccine passport to be able to enjoy life and this would happen in another two years, you would call me a conspiracy nut case. Well, it's not conspiracy anymore, it's all for real, now isn't it? As long as we the people continue to go along with this plandemic game it will never end. Only we the people can end this covid medical tyranny nonsense now because this has all just been one big gigantic conspiracy fraud. Oops, did I just say the word conspiracy? LOL. Conspiracy's are not for real. Conspiracies are for crazy people. Ya, right. ?

  5. We should be worried because the pressure to increase controls over social behaviour is real.

  6. I think Zeitgeist has a good point. If covid related deaths remain low then we shouldn't have further lockdowns. For example today in Ontario we had nearly 700 new cases but fortunately no deaths (vaccines are working very effectively) and as long as deaths are same as flu because of vaccinations of nearly 80% of population by fall then no more lockdowns should be imposed,

  7. Yeah that’s the problem with vaccine passports. They become an added layer of bureaucracy and create a two-tier society. Why, to protect the vaccinated who are already well protected? In case of a variant that doesn’t yet exist? I understand mandating vaccines, at least in certain fields, with exemptions on medical or other grounds. That’s it. If businesses or other jurisdictions require them then have your proof of vaccination ready, but really they are another form of restriction that shouldn’t be allowed. The question we always need to ask is, Is the cure worse than the disease? If BC doesn’t even have exemptions or allow ineligible children to participate in non-essential activities, that’s called fascism.

  8. CanaDUH needs set election dates every four years that are thus not subject to political gain of circumstances of the day by any party.

  9. Vaccination level is already exploited to the nth degree. You’re not going to see a big benefit by forcing the remainder to vaccinate. Once you hit the 70-80% level it’s about as good as it gets. I read from reliable sources that about 10M people are not fully vaccinated. Of these, 5M cannot be vaccinated. That means we can only get to 85-90% vaccination, not 100%.

  12. The decision as to whether or not to lock down can no longer be blamed on public health risk. It’s purely a political decision. It’s the choice for freedom or control. Hint: Pick door number one. Otherwise expect endless restrictions.

  13. As long as our MSM is so far left there's not much the conservatives can do. If O'Toole said: "I will not recognize more than 22 genders" the hounds at CTV and CBC would compare him to Hitler, and all that we'd see in the news for the next month is glam-shots of Trudeau snot-bubble-crying and giving teddy bears to heroic 6 year olds after their sex-change surgeries. The media is the real enemy here, Trudeau is just capitalizing.

  14. The public health authorities are risking their credibility by continuing to call for restrictions when the science clearly shows flu level risks to the vaccinated and vaccine-ineligible population. If the pretext for these restrictions is to protect the eligible unvaccinated who have freely chosen not to get vaccinated, that’s paternalistic overreach, at least when we know that our hospitals are unlikely to be overwhelmed, which is the case today. Not only are our hospitals quiet, Covid is being used as an excuse not to see patients and to limit the capacities of businesses to make money and people from interacting. It’s created a dysfunctional society in order to reach unattainable public health purity. We don’t hold these standards for protection against flu or traffic accidents. Responsible governments have to take back power from health authorities that are no longer acting in the public interest.

  16. You are one dangerous communist buffoon without a brain. You are the one that needs to be forced to stay at home. No doubt you have taken both jabs and you are still out there walking around and trying to spread the covid virus to people like me, the non vaccinated. Have you not heard recently that the fools who took the jab are still getting covid and can still spread the virus? Stay home so I can feel much safer being outdoors. So, once again I say stay home for the safety of others. You can now get your groceries delivered to your door. So, enjoy your own personal lock down. You really need to start thinking about others and not just yourself. LOL.

  17. They infected the whole world but prevented the disease from killing their own citizens. Compare US versus China's case numbers and deaths. Price of democracy. Sometimes for the good of all, governments have to make unpopular or even undemocratic decisions. Btw, the War Measures act was in Canada not China. If deaths and hospitalization remain low as I expect them to (because 80% of eligible people are fully vaccinated) then I do not believe in future lockdowns (Btw, I am the OP for this thread demanding no more lockdowns) but if infections and deaths surges then I will have to reluctantly support extreme measures in order to save lives.
