Those verses you quoted to try to support the argument that a country must take the rest of the world in and sacrifice their own country do not support that at all. The verses have absolutely nothing to do with the country's immigration system or policies. The verses are speaking to individual believer's and on how they treat other individuals, not some kind global Communism or Socialism. You are pulling verses out of context to try to support your anti nation, anti border twisted ideas. Every country in the world has borders and an immigration system whereby any would-be immigrants must apply and be screened before they are admitted in order to protect their own country from criminals, thugs, and people with hostile intent or pagan ideas that would destroy or harm their own country. You are incapable of living a moral and ethical life because you are a fallen sinner with a corrupt nature just like everyone else. You only pretend that it is possible. The world has proven with constant wars, crime, corruption, and hostile behavior that it is impossible. The principles taught in the Bible can help but are not accepted by most people. We don't need more immigrants who are hostile to western Judeo-Christian principles and civilization to begin with.

Anti-mask types were protesting on Parliament Hill the other day. They weren't alone, as tens of thousands of others protested in other countries. You can find videos of screaming, ranting, furious and even violent people who don't want to wear a mask all over the internet. You can also find, in great numbers, people who don't believe in vaccines, who believe they cause autism or any manner of other problems. Flat earthers are making a comeback, as incredible as that is to believe. And then we've got these 'anti-racism' loons, parading through cities, screaming in people's faces, attacking people, burning and looting stores outraged beyond bearing by police shootings which so far have no evidence of racism behind them. Donald Trump's electoral fortunes are looking up, his poll numbers rising, which is an astonishing thing given his incompetence and demonstrated idiocy. And this is due, in no small part, to the idiots screaming through cities about racism - who despise him. Yes, not only are they demonstrating against police racism in the shooting of black people despite no evidence of racism, but they're doing it to the benefit of an administration they despise and loath. If Trump gets re-elected it will be in large measure due to BLM and ANTIFA. And dumb. Dumb people voting for dumb people. There are people who would crawl through a valley of glass to vote for Trump. There are frenzied Trump supporters covering their entire lawns and houses with Trump signs, putting Trump signs on their cars and trucks and bodies. Most of these people still have the bizarre belief he cares about them despite him putting in four years demonstrating he does not, and doing absolutely nothing for them other than taking away their health care. Trudeau is most definitely not a smart guy. Those around him don't seem to be very bright either. Gerald Butts spent a decade trying to destroy Ontario's economy with green initiatives which almost all failed miserably. Has that warned anyone away? Nope. Now he and Trudeau are closeted together, eagerly putting together even bigger green initiatives to destroy Canada's economy. All despite the fact nothing Canada does - including disappearing off the face of the Earth - is going to have any noticeable impact on global warming/climate change. While the world builds hundreds of coal fired power plants a year Canada will bankrupt itself trying to be green. Dumb. Everywhere you go you see this sea of dumb. And most of it is 'educated'. Now educated doesn't meant what it used to mean. Educated used to mean a person who had a degree of sophistication which came from an education which was wide and deep. Today our universities are trade schools with a narrow focus, and which are filled with ideologues of the far Left far more intent on indoctrinating the young with their bizarre and unworkable beliefs than in actually educating them. Thus students emerge with a vast knowledge of ideologically bred beliefs which are almost all without any foundation or evidence. Doesn't matter. They believe it all with the devotion of the religious fanatic. Schools and universities have failed us. They have produced a legion of people far dumber and less knowledgeable than their parents and grandparents, and the consequences for democracies are likely to be the end of democracies.

A petition is moot if Mr. Harper does not want to return to politics. Has he indicated any such inclinations lately? Otherwise, "it's just a mental exercise". Do I think he would win? What you should have learned is that the Conservative party has been driving voters towards the liberal party for years now, they might as well be on Justin election team. That and the fact Justin has bought and paid for every one of those votes with bribes from the Canadian treasury , and this election i expect to see the purse strings opened once again. It is not because Justin is the best man, or the best qualified for the job, it is because Canadians like money more than they like how the country is run. And here is a news flash, we are not as close as you may think , your right we are not even in the same hemisphere, you continually defend Justin and his liberals, and in typical liberal fashion we have to bring up harper and all of his mistakes, those are clearly embedded in your memory, but the long list of Justins mistakes and gaffs in this country and abroad, don't even registers.... it reinforces the fact that there is a huge mega gap between your morals and values and mine, your judgement as to what is right and what is wrong... It is just another example of how divided our country has become.

I'm not even a refugee or immigrant (well, my great-grandparents were immigrants) and I would love to see "Judeo-Christian" culture destroyed. Also, "Islamic culture"; really, I'm ok with any and all religious culture destroyed. Maybe you need to re-read Mark 12:3; John 3:17; Philippians 2:4; Matthew 25:35-40; Romans 15:1 because according to those scriptures, a "Christian" nation would most certainly be accepting and helping refugees and immigrants. But here you are, advocating against that, so maybe it's people like you who are turning us away from our "Christian roots". And why does a nice Christian like you decide to insult someone you know nothing about, merely because he's a first generation immigrant? Perhaps a review of Romans 2:1 is in order for you. I'd be happy enough with Christianity if everyone actually followed what their holy book teaches; sadly too many of them, as evidenced by Blackbird, use their religion to support their hatred and intolerance of anyone who doesn't fit the standards of their little club. Once the world is rid of xenophobic, exclusionary, judgmental and cruel religionists, the rest of us can live life a moral and ethical life, accepting our differences instead of hating each other for them, practicing actual peace, love and charity, instead of the pretend version practiced by so many religious people. There will be no chance of being dragged backward to a time when women/LGBTQ+/minorities are oppressed because "God said". I don't suppose it'll happen in my lifetime.

Your "facts" conveniently ignore the fact Trudeau has run a corrupt, unethical government since he was elected in 2015. You ignore the fact every government we have had has had accusations of unethical or corrupt behavior. The Liberals probably had the biggest scandal in decades when they ran the Sponsorship Scandal for years in the 1990s and early 2000s until it was exposed and all the witnesses told the gruesome details in the Gomery Commission (public enquiry) that went on for weeks and some people went to jail. Taxpayers never got their money back. They gave away millions of dollars of taxpayer money to their friends. Find anything that Harper did that even comes close to the Sponsorship Scandal. You probably don't know anything about this because you weren't even here, but come over here later and tell us our Conservative government was corrupt. Obviously you don't know what you are talking about or if you do know the facts, you are carefully ignoring the corruption of the Liberals. Trudeau was the first PM to have been found guilty of three violations of the Ethics regulations. Trudeau was going to give almost a billion dollars of taxpayer money to his friends in the WE charity to distribute grants to students, until it was exposed that his relatives had been paid by them. Trudeau was going to give all this money away while Canada is nearly 400 billion dollars in debt.

And again, we can dream to ourselves how cute we are and universally loved and unconditionally too, only the facts tell otherwise. Not playing the tunes of a stellar example of a modern democracy but actually be a real, practical example of one, in transparency and responsibility of governments, in dynamic and inclusive economy, in the native matters and so on? So that there wouldn't be much need to talk and convince, just show.

I appreciate and respect those who question the policies. Don't worry, government boots trounced him and we've all complied. Was it all a necessary sacrifice? I don't think so, and soon people should have the personal choice whether to cloister themselves and cover up or come and go as they please, hopefully.
