If you worked with ANY of those professions, you would know that the flow of immigrant professionals with degrees based on privilege rather than merit and from cultures where integrity is simply not part of the way of doing business, you would also know that in many cases, those immigrants have damaged and/or destroyed those professions. Best example is the Liberals' favourite criminal organization: SNC Lavalin. They are famous in the engineering business for hiring cheap Asian (mostly Indian) engineers to fill chairs. The result is a reputation for such horrible quality work that the only way they get business is to bribe government and corporate officials for the privilege. I hear complaints from engineers daily of how the Indian content of many disciplines has damaged the reputation of their society, depressed wages and lowered levels of skill and trust. If you go to the trucking industry, you will hear the same complaints as the bodies pile up on the roadside. Yeah, they "help" Canadians alright.

This is true for the most part. It occurs because we so horribly mismanage how government works. It is in the business of dispensing privilege, not being egalitarian. While these lopsided benefits are available to those your political agenda targets, they are also available on a racial preference basis to aboriginals and many other minorities. I always go back to what Sir Roger Douglas once taught me about how to do legislation properly. In his words: "We simply removed privilege". Instead of you or I choosing to rant over OUR preferential access to the privilege of screwing over the taxpayer, any good government would simply do EXACTLY as Myata is suggesting and things are either available equally to ANY citizen or NONE. Trump's main accomplishment during his term was a huge tax cut for corporations. Would you not think that a dogmatic surge towards deregulation also benefitted these big corporations?

I think your statement is fundamentally flawed. It begs the following questions: 1. What is Canada, which needs immigrants? The Canadian landscape, environment, wildlife, plants, air and water do not need any immigrants and do not benefit from them. So take all that out of "Canada" and see what you have left. 2. "Contributing" to what and to whom?? They do not contribute to improving my lifestyle for sure. So using "all Canadians" in your statement makes it look and sound like what it really is - propaganda and meaningless political bullshit that was etched into your brain by the Minister of Immigration or other phony "leaders".

For some reasons we have grown shy about admitting it, hiding behind the meetings, policies and procedures. Any why, what's where to be ashamed of? Whoever is closer to the (public) pie should have a greater slice and bite, wouldn't it be only natural?

In South Dakota the governor there never did make it mandatory for her citizen's to have to wear a mask. The governor left it up to the people to decide as to whether they wanted to wear a mask. Now that is a real sign of a real and true conservative leader politician and not like a leftist liberal democrat follower politician like we have in politics today like Governor Cuomo and that other nitwit governor in California. In Florida there is no mask mandate. People can choose as to whether they want to wear a mask of not. that is how it should be everywhere. We will never see that happen in Canada because we have political leaders who act like dictators and like the power that has been handed to them and enjoy forcing people to wear a mask over a not so threatning virus. Folks, this so called Covid virus is just another plain and simple virus. Get over it will you.
