You are insulting minorities and immigrants in my case that succeeded in life through hard work and struggle. Some of us experienced racism, some of us experienced homelessness to get personal through bad luck and other factors. Thank God I did not meet people like you or some socialist on the other side to keep repeating the big lie that the reason I am not succeeding is because of the system. I was lucky in that aspect and it never once crossed my mind to steal or do something illegal for my benefit. Is funny what happens when you put your mind to being productive. My first job was as a dishwasher in a pizza place now I can walk anytime I want and buy a take out meal without worrying for the cost. This arrogance comes from people from both the left and right, people that got everything handed to them on a silver plate, never struggled for a dime and they feel so superior lecturing everyone else on what their problems is. It might work for people that are too afraid and they buy your big lie. Many more however will get up today and look for opportunities to become successful. That is the beauty of our western system, it gives opportunity to everyone. Is up to the individual if they want to take it.

Of course you see no racism. Many however see the colour of the officer and the colour of the person he killed and ask is that related go what you only see as bad. They do this because they have seen a repeat pattern of behaviour with white police and blacks. Does your version prevail? Why? Better still if you are right..then...what don't worry that guy is evil with everyone? Are blacks not part of that everyone category as well? You need to get that not all people grew up with pleasant experiences about police. So yes they might fear them when shit like this goes down. My grandmother died afraid of police. I grew up to witness police outside my synagogue guarding it from Jew haters. I grew up because my parents live in a country where they could live without such fear. So me, I can not . I am not asking people to go out and attack cops...but I am also not presuming to tell blacks or anyone else how they should feel. I will though tell black people I have to stand next to them and cry. Nothing else. They don't need my patronization. They just need us all to witness what happened ad join them and say no more. The four cops involved in the Floyd killing were white, asian, hispanic and black - go figure.

You can shrug this off as media hype if there were isolated protests and riots. They were protesting in Salt Lake City!!!! Dozens of cities participated. The media can't create a narrative about an obvious murder by cop caught on video. The reaction to these murders seem to be gaining traction. Revolutions are larger than the inciting incident. This narrative that white people are killed at a higher percentage is a red herring. Even if it was relevant, it should just bolster the idea that Cops are just trigger happy thugs and their authority needs to be checked. I think when Whitey, in all his/her privilege says that a POC's fear when they encounter police is statistically unfounded, they're not being helpful. We have two incidents of outright murder of POCs at the hands of police. (George Floyd and Breonna Taylor) Show the example of an innocent white person being murdered by the police that somehow minimizes the outrage of such events. The other narrative that isn't helpful is talking about property. The Spike Lee movie Do the Right Thing is a litmus test on Racism. SPOILER ALERT!!!! Do you find the murder of Radio Raheem more upsetting or the destruction of the Pizza Parlour? The riots that ensued when Radio Raheem gets murder often is what is more unsettling about the end of that movie and it shows that often white people consider private property more important than the lives of POCs. Why are Right-Wing talking heads more outraged that a Target got looted than a man getting choked out over 9 minutes or a front-line worker getting murdered in her own home?

I saw some data here that shows this perception to be false; more "whites" killed by police. It only makes sense given the population. But I do not believe that data. It too is false. Instead of by skin colour, it should be compared by level of poverty, education, and social factors like being raised with a father, etc. I believe in these things more.

There is racism in America (and Canada too, for that matter) and sure, that sucks, but it isn't institutionalized. White cops aren't cruising the streets looking for blacks to shoot as a matter of policy or even as a general rule. Yet somehow we're being brain-trained to believe that's the case. If we could somehow put the kibosh on that lie the commies of BLM would be neutered and the commies of antifa wouldn't have race riots to hide in. That's my point.

Looking at the more complete video something pops up. When this case gets to court the jury will see all the video. So these people and organizations from BLM to Antifa to looky-loo come-alongs, to Big Mama from the hood looking to loot some new underwear and a wide-screen TV are going to be gifted a new excuse to 'tear down the house' when the verdict comes out. It's doubtful what the jury sees will justify the punishment those who are basing their decisions on the tiny edit of video the media has been letting the average person see will be demanding. The media may call them out into the streets again so they'll have more chaos to film. Talk about your 'second wave.'

The entire narrative that has angered the Black community is that police are disproportionately arresting and abusing Black people, esp black men. The only actual evidence to support this are the statistics which show blacks are 2.5 times more likely to be killed by police than whites, and individual cases which make it into the media. But the disproportionate statistics can be easily understood in the context that black crime in the US is wildly disproportionate to their population, which would naturally mean they'd have more unfriendly (violent) interactions with police. For example, In New York city last year, blacks committed 46% of rapes, 62% of murders, 66% of robberies, 74% of shootings. Obviously this is going to mean much more police attention. As for media attention. That focuses on white on black racism to the exclusion of all else. Any case where a white officer kills a black man gets far more attention, particularly if that black person is unarmed, than if a black cop does it, or if the victim is white. No one ever heard of Tony Timpas because though he died in circumstances remarkably similar to George Floyd he was white, so there was no racism narrative. There were also no riots and the police involved are still on the job. The media racism narrative is so strong that in Toronto a bunch of people marched yesterday because a black woman with mental health issues jumped out a window to her death. Yet a lot of blacks believe police, who were alone with her in the apartment, threw her out the window. No excuse is given. None is needed. After all, the Toronto police are racist towards black, despite how many blacks are on the Toronto police force and that they have a black chief. So in their minds they'd simply enjoy throwing a black woman out a window. Idiocy. This media narrative is strong enough that you can see crowds of black people gathering often in the streets as cops make an arrest, shouting abuse and sometimes trying to intervene, without even knowing who the police were arresting or why. And it leads to a sense of visible resentment and anger young black men in particular often show towards police - which can easily spiral upward to violence and arrests. The media is doing the black community no favours here. They make it harder for police to get cooperation in black communities as they investigate violent offenders who are mainly hurting black people.

If a mob gathers around your car, blocking it from moving, screaming abuse, throwing things at your car, pounding on the car, what is the likelihood you'll just smile and wave vs stepping on the gas?

But this world of angertainment destroyed the idea of a public and put us into the mob mentality decades ago, so it's a slow march to civil war in the Balkanized Americas. It does not look like a documentary, just individuals that are considered role models in their own community. They make millions of dollars talking about violence, shootings, drug deals on the back of poor people and young kids that have no direction in life. The kids go to prison or end up in the ground and they get rich. Take a look at what is trending on you tube in the rap music section and rarely you notice a video talking about something positive or constructive. It is very uncomfortable and takes critical thinking skills to talk about this aspect. Is easier to say "white supremacy" "All cops are bad" "racism" "oppression". But sure, like you said, it is all business, they are just media organizations looking out for their clients, investors. Not all of us in the business world think ONLY about money and profit. Some of us can make money but also impact our community in a positive matter by providing a constructive product or service. PS. I am watching live PD this morning and it is so stressful for the cops to do their job, the resistance that they are getting from criminals due to what is happening is shocking.

Coming to a protest and screaming at United States service members while wearing a British flag (see picture). I am just curious to hear this please, maybe I am not too enlightened to understand. Explain this logic, why is it when a criminal cop does a heinous act we are told there is a problem with the whole police force however when criminal looters burn cities down we are told is racist to point that out and we should shut our mouth ? The phoney war between Trump and the platforms is like pro wrestling - pretending to hate each other is part of the act. The faux liberals of Facebook in particular stand to make a fortune from Trump's campaign and a man who found the conservative faith rather late in life needs to bypass the pesky fact-checkers of TV and print. Twitter has been very good to him and vice versa.

I guarantee that for many of these rioters, the main idea was "I'm gonna gets me a new TV and a phat pair of kicks". As I watched the looting of a liquor store I was truly disgusted seeing these guys make off with cases of Bud Light....I mean really, don't these guys know the value of a good scotch?

The death of Floyd was not on the minds of those black thieves at all. Most of those blacks could careless about Floyd being murdered by a white cop. It gave many black thugs an excuse to go cause mayhem and chaos. Breaking into stores and stealing merchandise was not about fighting for justice for blacks or for Floyd. It was a disgusting thing to watch a lot of blacks stealing and totally ignoring as to what the demonstration was all about. And those people want respect? Ha-ha.

Black people sure do enjoy killing each other. A black person living in Chicago probably has a 100% chance of getting murdered by another black. Thousands of blacks murder each other every year all over America but we never see any riots over it. Why is that? I guess that as long as blacks are killing blacks all is good. But yet let some white guy or cop kill a black person and the shit is guaranteed to hit the fan. And where is Al Sharpton or Reverend Jackson on all of those murders, eh? Nowhere to be found. Those two are racists against white people alright. They both appear to be trying to start a race war against white and black people. Hey, we never know, eh?

The rioters are just strings being manipulated by the mainstream media. More white people have been killed by police this year. Not one instance has ever been highlighted on the news by the media. These riots are also the product of illogical months long stay at home orders.

I doubt it, not with the shit-show south of us to provide a reason for repeating the phrase "there but for the grace of whatever go us". The Canadian Overton window is shifting away from politicians and towards expertise and our politicians seem more than happy to follow. Canadian politicians seem to have a better awareness of their limits and when to shut up and probably because they know Canadians are more aware of these limits too.
