Super Tucanos are ground attack aircraft capable of operating from dirt roads. Crews love them.2 points

...and when I point out cheaper alternatives to nasty evil F-35s...like the A-29/EMB-314 Super Tucano...what's your response?2 points

Trudeau is finishing the job his father started, destroying english canada . And his love affair with Islam and immigrants ,he will let everyone in if he can. Remember he pretty well said he will take the ones from america. So are there 11 million heading this way?? And now with sanctuary cities, more are going to come. Montreal is going to explode. But everyone around the counsel table making these decisions are not waiting in line for food and housing, so the poor people are the ones that will pay for this craziness. I am so sick and tired of hearing about them.2 points

I think Trump's trouble with New START is that Russia continues to develop newer ICBMs on mobile launchers with increasing numbers of MIRV warheads. Each RV (holding the MIRVs) is counted as one warhead for the old START Treaty, if I recall. The US hasn't built a new ICBM in decades. Same goes for the Russian bomber fleet...each counts as one warhead, if I recall correctly under START. All Russian bombers now carry multiple rotary cruise missile launchers as well as options for the conventional method...bombs away! Russia still maintains a big bomber fleet.2 points

That wasn't in response to you. I'm sure if you could push a button and silence me...you would.2 points

That's excellent news. 25% of Canadians agree with Trump-style immigrant policies and the sooner we can dilute that number with new-stock Canadians the sooner the old-stock dingbats will fade to even less significance.2 points

I never said the Super Tucano as the only aircraft in service. One F-35 buys what? A dozen? Something like that. Good organic ground support when fighting...oh I dunno...poorly armed Middle Eastern terrorists (what are the chances?). But, we both know: Canada...the can't do nation. We have a zillion reasons why we can't do ANYTHING. But, throw money by the billions at sinking ships....that's easy enough.1 point

I don't care whether you agree with me or not. Read the article. I'm just saying what his own father had said: he's Somali. His own dad ought to know. :shrug:1 point

Nope...sorry...you don't get to wiggle out every time by claiming the left-winger was actually a right-winger...again. Left wingers also create social and economic reasons for refugee flight to other nations.1 point

I doubt most right-wing conservatives could even find elsewhere on a map.1 point
-
The reverse of racism is tolerance and my intolerance is for right-wing conservatism which is not a race so... In any case, much of the human migration we're seeing around the planet is as I've pointed out as much due to climate change as anything which of course is the last thing RWC's consider as a possibility. As this cause for migration picks up speed and becomes less deniable I'm quite certain RCW's will rise to the challenge and still blame everything but. And I repeat, none of us have seen anything yet - as the water-hole gets smaller and smaller the animals will get meaner and meaner.1 point
-
I do not doubt some will turn this into a race issue and say this is about hating people who are black, Somali, African not anything else. I do not doubt for some maybe if these illegals were white and/or spoke English it might not cause as much concern. However I think most of us see this as cue jumping which hurts the most vulnerable Canadians, first those in Canada in need of the help being diverted to these illegals, secondly it hurts the real in need refugees and honest immigrant applicants who have the right not to say,why follow the law, how will that help me in a country that rewards illegals at my direct conflicted expense? I bring up the use of a Somali refugee as Immigration Minister because it was blatant racism that placed him in the position and it will be blatant racism that seems him blamed and hung out to try for this chaos not Trudeau. From what I understand he is a good man and they should have never placed him in such a position. Its unfair to him and it most certainly continues the legacy of turning minorities into crass tokenist symbols for Trudeau to hide behind. It was cowardly of him to avoid the chaos at the borders issue by throwing Yazidis out as a smoke screen through his Immigration Minister in a press conference yesterday. What a cowardly, unethical, disgusting manipulation of Yazidis.. Whether he uses Syrian refugees in photo ops, Yazidis in this manner Trudeau is showing he uses vulnerable refuges as props to make himself look good and avoid the chaos issue.. I don't want anyone hurt. I hate this issue. I come from refugees and most Canadians are immigrants but we could not jump the line as it is now and be rewarded for it undermining the whole system. Its about doing the right thing and its going to be unpopular and hard turning people away but it will have to be done and if Trudeau wants to run from it and the job he has a responsibility to do, the chaos he will create will get him thrown out of office and let's him it doesn't bring a back-lash that hurts innocent people. Most minorities like me do not think allowing people to push ahead of others is the way to do it. Its an insult to us who followed the law. My mother faced deportation because she was a refugee even though she was badly needed in her medical specialty after WW2. I wish no refugee harm. I wish no legitimate immigrant ill will. I just can't stand to see the line jumpers and dishonest politicians who won't put an end to it for fear it may lose them some votes. We need to uphold our laws at the borders. Canada is a laughing stock telling people its o.k. to waltz in illegally which is what Trudeau and Mayors of sanctuary cities are saying, Yah you bet Trudeau never saw this coming and Trump did. Who is laughing now at who and meanwhile its poor people and genuine immigrants and refugees who will all suffer.1 point

In the above answer to Eye who asks whether staring too long at a woman on a beach is considered rape, you responded with the above. You already have made the unfounded allegation that rape in "Europe" is defined as unwanted touching. The two of you exchanging flippant comments about rape should not surprise anyone and I challenge them as pathetic. I would contend that for Eye to ask whether staring too long at a woman on a beach is rape, lends to the appearance he fails to understand what boundaries are and can't distinguish between being rude and a pathetic ogler with sexual assault and thinks is something he should be flippant about. Then you join him. What a giggle fest with you 2. Tee hee rape is exaggerated-yah that's the issue-women aren't being raped, its just stupid people making a big deal about touching or staring.. No doubt Eye has problems understanding wby staring at women on beaches is problematic and he can't distinguish it from rape. You? You think touching women without their consent is not a problem? Finish it then. Explain to me why touching women without their consent is something to scoff at. Please enlighten me why the Swedes are over-reacting. By the way, in Canada and Sweden and most nations in Western Europe we all have criminal laws that say if you touch someome without their consent it COULD BE considered what is called a "battery" it doesn't automatically make it a battery or a rape as you say. It doesn't become a sexual assault unless the battery is both non consensual and is shown to have beensexual in nature, i.e., breasts are grabbed, private parts are grabbed, comments are made along with the battery suggesting it was sexual in nature. Go on giggle about that but those are our laws and if you can' t respect a woman's right not to be touched without her consent you Sir have issues not the woman, not Sweden and not those of us in countries who want laws to protect women from unwelcomed battery. As for Eye the irony is when he gets his eye poked out he will be the first running to the police claiming he's a victim. The issues of sexual assault in Sweden are real. Sexual assault is real. Discussing it in a flippant manner under the pretext its not real and only being used to signal out Muslims is wrong. Sexual assault is wrong no matter who does it and if you have to be told that its sad.1 point

In France, The FEMINIST MOVEMENT SEEMS TO BE DEAD AS A DOOR NAIL! There are "No-Go Zones" for women. What progressives call "barbaric culture" when it comes to treatment of women....... is, ironically, welcomed by these same proggresives in their own countries. They allow it to fester in certain places. I'm telling you, liberals have dysfunctional minds!1 point
-
We've heard of "no-go zones" in UK, and in other parts of Europe. Mainstream media won't report about them. It's something that progressives and liberals are sweeping under the rug. A "no-go zone" is part of a city that cops won't go into. It's like another land. Here's the "No-Go Zone" in Sweden.1 point

This is pure bullshit and really underscores the stupidity of letting public sentiments inform this debate and probably mental illness generally. Vincent Li was not on medication because he was an undiagnosed schizophrenic at the time of the incident.1 point

Because of the stigma emanating from an ignorant and unforgiving court of public opinion.1 point

Your cohorts certainly have and Harper's attempt to have the law trump medicine has been cited as well. All you've accomplished is to declare you don't agree with Baker's release. Fortunately your opinion doesn't matter, nor should it because it's based on emotion as opposed to medical science.1 point

It's like he's supportive of the coup, even proud of it but ashamed at the same time. The real mystery is why America can't use the same argument - that communism forced us to do it. This should be in the preamble of every foreign policy that's designed to preserve our values. It's like the old argument that we had to destroy a village to save it, we had no choice but to subject people to some of the most horrible torturers on the planet to prevent them from being subjected to tyranny. Why can't America do this if it's the truth?1 point

It appears to me the only real point of contention here is that conservatives think the team of doctors and experts dealing with his case are unqualified to make the determination that it's safe to release him and that leftism is somehow responsible. You have to make a better case that politicians are somehow better positioned to do so and why.1 point

If he was untreatable you'd have a point but since he is you don't. 100% certainty is not only impossible it's also unnecessary. The only reason for requiring 100% is political not medical.1 point

You don't even know the history of his case do you? He hadn't even been diagnosed before the incident on the bus, there was no medication for him to take. Now he is very likely administered a monthly injection of risperdal. Its a very effective anti-pyschotic medicine and the manner by which its administered vastly reduces the likelihood of him being "off his meds". If he doesn't come in for his shot you can bet alarms start ringing.1 point

If a country chooses to ban a group of certain religion, they have the right to do that. Just like companies have the right to hire and fire who they want, countries should be allowed to do the same. Religion is also something personal so it has absolutely NO PLACE in a way a country sets it's laws and rules. If a country chooses to ban a certain religion, they should have the right to do that.1 point
