OMG, now robo has to admit that Clinton slept with thousands of underage girls, because there's a picture. Unless he's some kind of hypocrite 😱4 points

Food price increases are more in Canada, than some other G7 nations because our main food exporting country decided tariffs would be a wonderful idea. What the article below leaves out is corporate price gouging. Profit margins in grocery retail has increased significantly. https://retail-insider.com/retail-insider/2025/10/canadas-food-inflation-surges-to-top-of-g7-rankings/ Much of the renewed pressure can be traced back to trade policy. The counter-tariffs introduced in March, combined with new U.S. measures, have quietly inflated costs across the entire food chain. Tariffs are, by nature, inflationary—they disrupt market efficiencies, raise input prices, and trigger retaliatory actions that make goods more expensive on both sides of the border.2 points

Western Europe has better neighbours. They have learned to truly respect each other. By contrast, the US is barely able to cope with a trade area of three countries.2 points

good points - but they don't conform to the Manifest Destiny belief for N.A. Re; "the rest of the World wouldn't allow it"? I was referring to blowback of any Nation taking possession of such an increasingly strategic piece of real estate. European history is a good study on this type of thing. The global community would put extreme diplomatic / economic pressure on the U.S. x2 if China does become the #1 Global economy (dread that). It wouldn't be worth the squeeze - esp since Canada is more than willing to support the U.S. (language, culture, language, values) - it IS after all an ally. All that said, annexation would conform to the Manifest Destiny. Strategically, Canada's strategic / economic value will only increase this century - water, minerals, educated workforce, Tim Horton's, ENERGY- treasure trove, baby! Not sure if we're actively trying to shit the pit right now, but those that think that way should be forgiven.2 points

That's not what they told me...5 brokers all said the same thing...a wildfire within 50 km. I admit I'm in an unprotected area - and more than 300 m from a fire hydrant but that's always been accounted for in past insurance policies. There's been as much crime around my neighborhood as there have been wildfires...none IOW. Armed to the teeth? You strike me as that type alright.2 points

If anyone commits any crime, then the full weight of the law should be put on them. What you seem to be implying is that if a Democrat commits that crime, then it absolves Republicans - like Trump - from the same crime. No, they all should be held accountable. Now, this thread is about the Epstein files, so I will mention that Susie Wiles, in her Vanity Fair interviews, said that Bill Clinton is not in the files. She says she has read the Epstein files, and in her words: Trump has claimed, without evidence, that Bill Clinton visited Epstein’s infamous private island, Little St. James, “supposedly 28 times.” “There is no evidence” those visits happened, according to Wiles; as for whether there was anything incriminating about Clinton in the files, “The president was wrong about that.”1 point

You realize this more accurately describes Trump?1 point

Canadians in past generations were proud of themselves, proud of their country and its accomplishments. They knew their place in the world and were confident. They had a god, a decent job, close friends, a big extended family, and would soon get engaged. Amazing new things were coming along every year. Canadian kids now often have no siblings, and perhaps one or two cousins, or none. They arrive at a school system where they are a minority, sometimes even a small minority. They are taught that their country is stolen, genocidal, and racist, and that they should be ashamed of their white privilege. Boys are constantly told to act like girls, and even that they can BE girls if they want to. And if they choose to be girls, everyone will admire them! As they grow up, the message is pounded in from school, from media, arts, academics: white people are bad. Men are particularly bad. Strength and aggression, and competition are bad. They must act more like women do. They must be sensitive and caring and learn to share their feelings. They must always be aware that they are oppressors and bow their heads to the victims. When they try to enter college, they learn that they have to have higher scores than others to get in. And when they graduate, they learn, especially the men, that every company, every organization, public and private, wants to hire literally anyone else but them. Every other racial, ethnic, religious, gender, and orientation group will be hired ahead of them, and promoted ahead of them. There is no more religion. Only white supremacists are patriotic. And oh, by the way, there are few permanent jobs anymore. It's a gig economy. They can barely afford to rent a cheap apartment, let alone buy a house. Wages are low as floods of foreigners come in to take them at cheaper wages. There's nothing to believe in, no sense of purpose, no guide to where they should be going. Live for the day. Video games and cheap sex without commitments. 27% of millennials have no close friends. 22% have no friends at all. Half have no more than two or three close friends. Loneliness is common. So what's there to be happy about?1 point

To pretend that you've just decided to award bonuses to service members, but in actuality are just giving them money that was already theirs, is a con. Full stop. Anyway, on to the next featured con: Trump says they are blowing up boats in the ocean to stop the import of drugs. They say this is part of an "armed conflict" with unspecified drug cartels, although there is none. Trump falsely redefines these civilians he is murdering as "combatants" - and targets them as "narco-terrorists" worthy of extrajudicial execution. As Pete Hegseth said: “Core national interest, the safety of the American people, stop the killing, stop the poisoning of the American people. It’s as simple as that.” But there have been some who did not buy this justification, who say that blowing up the boats is not about any kind of drug action, but rather regime change in Venezuela, and now Susie Wiles, in the Vanity Fair interview, has revealed the truth of the matter – it is after all about regime change: “He wants to keep on blowing boats up until Maduro cries uncle,” Wiles said. “And people way smarter than me on that say that he will.”1 point

Only a leftie would think that simple facts and truth is "gaslighting". Trump did something every politician in the history of mankind did, reannounce a previous announcement and make it sound exciting, and you're trying to pass it off as a "con job", only to get cornered when confronted by the fact poliicians you like do EXACTLY THE SAME THING Remember when carney promised he'd pay for displaced workers "with tariff money", despite the fact it just goes into general revenue? The sad thing here is that there's plenty of legitimate things to criticize trump about. But apparently you think trump is so great, that the only way you can criticize him is to create fake controversy that is easily challenged. Really so enamored with trump's performance that you have to conjure up false accusations? Do better.1 point

Mainly by believing things should stay the same which they don't, by expecting and not being grateful for what they do have and by denying opportunities they do have as 'too difficult' to achieve. The attitude that someone else has to give you a job is prevalent, as is the lack of ability to communicate (sell themselves) on top of a lack of ambition in so many. When I know a woman who came from the Phillpines 15 years ago, raised a daughter as a single Mom as she plugged away at menial work and managed to turn her sewing hobby into dresses shown on fashion runways and costumes for Hollywood North and TFWs who in 6 years of making sub sandwiches are now citizens with public service jobs, and local kids who quit jobs expecting $30 start wages with no trining and no seniority I shake mt head. Like with the kid who cut my small lawn and I gave him $40 to ensure he'd come back didn't. Didn't think it was worth it for 20 minutes of work. Another got a plow for his ols truck and surprise! no one will pay him $75 to plow a 50 ft residential driveway.1 point

Getting away from the personal whack-a-mole at each other, all the Evacuation Orders and Alerts have now been lifted. Ya, we grabbed a lot in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Germany, Somalia, etc etc... So your comment is that if someone dares to reply to a post in an open forum then that's disrespectful? On top of which I wasn't even replying to you I replied to eyeball to advise him that you were correct. Do you have any idea how big of a douche you look like right now1 point

As was pointed out already you're a filthy liar. If anything I was quite cordial to you, but as always you begin to attack other people when you don't like that they say and then you immediately go to spamming the hell out of the forum I'm using lee it is always me that tells you you'll get the respect you deserve. Then you immediately act like a disrespectful ass and get treated as such. Then whine. And you do it everyday. As I previously noted you woke up this morning and the very first thing you did was run around and find all my posts and put little down errors on them. And it's not like you disagree with them all I know, some of them have been posts like how I said it was wrong to let old people die alone and you still downvoted it . We all give each other a hard time from time to time but you act like a complete 12-year-old tard constantly. It's not like everyone hasn't told you this before1 point

LOL didn't you already post this a dozen times today on different threads? I did. This is what's there. @CdnFox @ExFlyer Now tell me again how innocent you are. and the people I talk to who have been to the US recently say it's more safe than ever. Anyone saying that the US "isn't safe" is lying their asses off. This poppycock that "ICE will arrest you and send you to El Salvador" is just more of the same nonsense that brought you Kamala Harris and "Elbows Up". Just total bullshit. If you want the real reason that vehicle crossings are down, look no further than what the stupid Liberals have done to our dollar vs the USD. It's freaking toilet paper now thanks to their horrible management of our economy.1 point
