About This Club

This club has no rules (besides Greg's all-clubs rules of following the law & no porn). The only other rule is no crazy spamming so that we can all actually read the forum properly. Everyone can join. Do or say whatever you want otherwise. Trigger warning: words may offend. If someone's being a meanie or calls you a nasty name, i suggest ignoring it, or defend yourself, or leave, I don't care.
  1. What's new in this club
  2. Jimmy Carter fucked up in 1979 when he did not nuke the entire country back into the stone age for invading our territory, the embassy. He set the stage for endless terrorism against America. If he had responded with an iron first and destruction on an apoplectic scale, the world would be a better place today. When a bully bullies you, the response should always be ripping his face right off his head. Then the other bullies know to never come near you.
  3. Iron man, he is the coolest built an armor suit that flies in a cave with spare parts and a swiss knife...what did bat man do again...he built a cool car, and moto bike but they did not fly...3 superman was cool he could fly and had lasers shot out his butt.. and had a girlfriend to boot...batman had a old guy for a side kick and lets not forget about Robbin...
  4. Jesus was cool, but today several heroes have come back from the dead, although none of them had God as a father.
  5. In the comics - Silver Surfer Television - Jessica Jones Movies - Captain America
  6. Forget about it! Take the middle of the road: All you need is love.
  7. I think it's a 3-way battle between Batman, Spider-Man and Wolverine. As a kid i would have said Spider-Man. As an adult i shine towards Batman. I think Batman works very well on screen, kind of a film noir. In comics i think Spidey shines brighter than film, due to the bright colors of the costumes of the villains and hero that never quite translate on screen with the same charm. For instance, Green Goblin's costume in Sam Raimi's films was terrible.
  8. The only profanity not allowed is Libera* party, ND* party and what ever that other party was some extremist group i think.
  9. I don't like it either. If I wanted to give to this charity I would've done so. process my payment so I can leave.
  10. I have heard this said before. I was correctly suspicious: https://www.macleans.ca/economy/economicanalysis/why-im-not-going-to-give-at-the-cash-register-in-2015/ "Retailers aren’t legally allowed to claim a deduction for donations of cash that doesn’t belong to them, even if they did collect it"
  11. Think of their charitable tax credit though. How else is Walmart to survive if not on your generosity?
  12. I am tired of that pestering question "Would you like to donate today?" Wal-Mart has implemented in their self check out process. So every time I visit Wal-Mart and get asked the question, I send them an e-mail asking the same question back. If you are annoyed by their arrogance, please consider doing the same. Send your question to [email protected] If you are persistent we can make a difference.
  13. After their sudden change in picture hosting policies about 2 years ago, when they broke all links to pictures hosted with them and asked the users for ransom, Photobucket kept quiet for a while. This year I started getting incessant nagging messages from them how my account had more images than the limit allowed (of course those images were uploaded when they had no limits) and how I have to take action (read pay up) to make things right. I made it right. Removed all of my 4,500 images from 2 accounts and left one image in both of them. This is the image
  14. Dont hold your breath. Mr. Trudeau prorogued parliament, so to cover up the investigation.
  15. There are still many other charities and companies administered by or associated to the founders that need to be accounted for.
  16. The We charity originated in Canada started by a 12 year old kid, and became an organization that helped kids all around the world to escape child slavery. The kid, Craig Kielburger, has since been named to the Order of Canada. Mr. Trudeau has become a veritable King Midas, who's mere touch promises to bestow a great reward, but actually leads to total fatality. Should have said thanks Justin, but no thanks... "The future looks bright ahead," he said. "All is golden... "
  17. WE Charity says it is closing its Canadian operations, blaming COVID-19 and the political fallout from the Liberal government’s plan to have it run a multimillion-dollar student-volunteer program for leaving it in financial ruin. Craig and Marc Kielburger, who are also planning to step down from the organization they co-founded, were set to release an open letter explaining the move. “COVID-19 disrupted every aspect of our work,” the brothers wrote in the letter Wednesday. “The fallout from the Canada Student Service Grant has placed us as a charity in the middle of political battles and misinformation that we are ill-equipped to fight. “The financial math for the charity’s future is clear.” https://globalnews.ca/news/7324897/we-charity-close-operations-canada/ They also said they're selling their headquarters buildings in Toronto. I'm eager to see where that money goes. Their parents, who are pro real estate flippers, have sold properties to WE Charity in Toronto for a tidy profit. Gee nothing fishy there!
  18. Please also note that I haven't given my own opinion on the idea. Economics is a highly specialized field with as much uncertainty as any art.
  19. He thinks money grows on trees and has never had to worry about paying a bill in his life, so yeah he would love it.
  20. I would imagine he would love such a thing. Free money, right ? What's to hate ?
